Scares that Care 2 was a success.

Sorry, this is a little late. Driving to and from VA twice in less than a week has left me a bit loopy. I want to say a big "Thank You" to the staff and all the participants of the Scares That Care 2 event. It was an amazing 3 days, and I'm glad I ignored my inner introvert and dove in.

I didn't take a bunch of pics but I got a few ...

* Candace Nola, R.E. Shambrook, RJ Roles, Aron Beauregard, Lucas Mangum, Carver Pike and Julie Powers.

It was great to meet some of the nicest people in Indie horror, and of course, there are so many more that I didn't think to ask for a pic. Usually, I just said tag me on Facebook when they posted, so if you like to scroll through stuff, head over to my page to see more.

One of the highlights of the weekend was being on the Extreme Horror and Splatterpunk panel. It was an honor to be included with some of the biggest voices in my favorite sub-genre. Tommy Clark was the moderator and did a fantastic job.

I was excited to support my buddy, Mike Ennenbach who had a reading Saturday night. Not sure what made me think to do it, but I even caught it on video. Head over to What's in the Box? Horror to check it out. FYI, this is not safe for work. It is a very hard R.

On the drive home, I hung out at a rest stop and saw this beauty.

And the best part of coming home is always getting mauled by these 2 maniacs.
